You approve one number
You approve the quote and nothing is due then. Your cartons are weighed and measured at our China warehouse, then we send a real invoice from a registered US business, paid by ACH. If the measured weight is within 5% of the quote, the quoted price stands. No blind wire, no deposits.
It arrives, nothing more to pay
On door to door air and sea, freight, clearance, duties and delivery were all in the quote; on air consolidation the duty is paid at import. You get updates without chasing them, and your next show budget stays intact.
What Whatnot sellers should know before ordering
Duty rates vary a lot across Whatnot categories, and they are part of your real unit cost. The duty is the normal rate for your product's HTS code, plus a Section 301 duty where the code is on a Section 301 list (7.5% or 25% for most listed consumer goods). The IEEPA tariffs added in 2025 were ended on 20 February 2026; see the US import rules timeline for the dated steps. Beauty products and cosmetics are reviewed by a person before we quote, and some cosmetics also need FDA Prior Notice before they enter the US. Footwear classification turns on the upper and sole material, so rates differ widely between sneaker types, and trading cards and collectibles vary by classification. We confirm your product's 10-digit HTS code and put the real rate in the quote, so the math happens before you pay your supplier.
Method choice is mostly about weight and your show calendar. Up to about 20 kg, door to door air at 6 to 12 working days is the default, and a 5 kg lot is $111.89. From about 35 kg, air consolidation at 10 to 14 days costs less per kilogram. Bulky lots like full cases of figures ride sea (28 to 32 days, priced from 10 kg) if you can plan that far out. Remember your supplier's production time and the courier leg to our China warehouse sit on top of all of these.
The paperwork is where Whatnot shipments most often stumble. The commercial invoice needs a specific, honest description: sneakers listed as sneakers, cards as trading cards, because vague descriptions raise hold risk instead of lowering it. We legally ship branded merchandise on our branded channel; keep your supplier invoice ready in case CBP asks where it came from. We review all of it before anything moves so your goods do not sit at the border while your show calendar burns.

Can you ship my Whatnot inventory directly to my house?
Yes. We deliver to any US address: home, garage, storage unit, or a 3PL. Delivery is included in the all-in price, so there is no terminal pickup and no separate carrier bill.
My lot is only a few kilograms. Is that too small?
No. We handle shipments from 100 g up to 2,000 kg. A 5 kg box of trading cards is a normal shipment for us: $111.89 door to door by air.
How fast can I restock between shows?
Door to door air runs 6 to 12 working days from the day your shipment leaves our China warehouse. Add the time your supplier needs to produce the goods and send the cartons to our China warehouse when planning a show calendar.
What about branded goods like sneakers or licensed cards?
Yes, we legally ship branded goods. They travel on our branded channel at a higher rate, shown in your quote, and get a firm price at the quote stage; keep your supplier invoice handy in case customs asks. Footwear also carries some of the highest duty rates, which our quote includes upfront on door to door air and sea.
Will I get a duty bill when the goods arrive?
Not on door to door air (up to about 20 kg) or sea: US customs clearance and import duties are inside the one price you approve, and nothing extra is collected at delivery. On air consolidation, for heavier air loads, the duty is paid at import, and every offer says which lane you have.
