Ordering from several Alibaba suppliers? Ship everything to our China warehouse and receive one box

How consolidation works, step by step

• Tell us what you are ordering: how many suppliers, roughly what the goods are, and where they ship to in the US. You can do that through the quote form or by email, and we reply with the warehouse delivery address and simple receiving instructions.
• Place your Alibaba orders as usual. You pay your suppliers directly on the platform; nothing about the buying changes.
• At checkout, set the delivery address to our warehouse in China. Shipping inside China is by ordinary domestic courier, which is cheap and which many suppliers include for free.
• Send us the domestic tracking numbers your suppliers give you, so we can match each arriving package to your order list.
• We receive your packages and confirm when everything on the list has arrived.
• We combine everything into one box and ship it to your US address as a single DDP shipment: one price that covers the air freight, US customs clearance, duties, and delivery to your door.

Typical door-to-door time for the consolidated air shipment is 6 to 9 days from the day the last package reaches the warehouse.

What it costs

You pay one price based on the combined chargeable weight of the consolidated box, not a price per supplier. That is the whole point: the fixed costs of an international shipment (line-haul, customs entry, final-mile delivery) are paid once instead of three or four times.

Chargeable weight is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight (length x width x height in cm, divided by 6,000). Clothing and textiles are usually dense enough that actual weight governs; bulky, light goods can be billed on volume. See how small-parcel pricing works for the mechanics.

What to tell your suppliers

• Give them the warehouse address exactly as we send it to you, including the receiving mark (your name or order reference on the carton label), so your boxes are identifiable among everything else the warehouse receives that day.
• Ask for the domestic courier tracking number as soon as the order ships, and forward it to us.
• Ask them to pack for onward air freight: a sturdy carton, no loose retail bags. Suppliers do this routinely when told the goods go to a freight forwarder.

That is all the coordination there is. You do not arrange anything inside China yourself; your suppliers ship domestically at their end and we take it from the warehouse door.

A few things to check before you order

• Brand logos: if any of the goods carry brand logos or licensed designs, say so when you ask for a quote. Officially licensed goods ship on a different channel at a higher rate, and counterfeits we do not carry. The clothing and apparel guide covers this in more depth.
• Restricted items: batteries, magnets, liquids, powders, food, and similar categories need checking before they ship. Describe the products in your quote request and we confirm before anything moves.
• Order timing: domestic couriers inside China typically deliver in 2 to 5 days, so orders placed in the same week usually land at the warehouse within days of each other. We ship once everything on your list is in.
